Who am I to you?
I'm questioning my existence. the fact I’m even alive. if I’ve ever made a difference. if I’ll be missed when I die.
Who am I to anyone? Who am I to you?
Am I the guy you met and forgot? before I was out of sight.
Who am I to anyone? Who am I to you?
Was I the man who gave you, my seat? that you neglected to thank.
Who am I to anyone? Who am I to you?
Was I the one in the waiting room? you talked to, to pass the time.
Who am I to anyone? Who am I to you?
Did we share an elevator ride? then go our separate ways?
I'm questioning my existence. The fact I’m even alive. If I've ever made a difference. if I’ll be missed when I die.
Who am I to anyone? Who am I to you?

The concept of this song is good and one that many people ponder and has relevancy but I think it’s a topic that is more serious than the responses given to the questions asked....just some thoughts
Steve
Creators of music have a responsibility to their craft. When they have finished using all the notes and words, they must pass them down to the next generation with a simple request. “Use these to create new music.”...Steven McDonald

Steve is right, there are many more important questions to ask...
But, "Who am I to you" is something you ask someone who already knows you.
On the other hand, I like the commonality of it... The uncomplicated daily interaction of strangers.
Perhaps the question should be "how are we the same?"

Its a good angle to be fleshed out and commercially tracked out... if you ever go that way Not sure I've heard the angle really......... longer chorus all that jazz to work I'd read the enemy's playbook on hit material

"Money is worst reason to be motivated NOT to do anything. Instead of letting those concerns STOP you, use it to motivate yourself to find an alternate solution that bypasses money. You will soon find that your own resourcefulness is worth far more than a pile of paper money." –Brian Austin Whitney
