NEW ALBUM OF POP-ROCK MUSIC! CHECK IT OUT!
Well, we are facing a lot of crises: Céline Dion cancelling shows, Ed Sheeran not cancelling shows, Keith Richards, etc.
And yet, if all this ever drags you down, remember: Things Could Be Worse!
That’s the theme and the title of my new album available on all streaming platforms! Here is a YouTube video giving you a chicken-enhanced overview of it (they might steal the show):

And here's a summary of each song:
I Was Waiting for You—A man waits for his wife, reminisces, and gets easily distracted. Cameo appearances by Jimmy Swaggart, OJ Simpson, and the Berlin Wall.
The Poor People—As the title says. With a guest appearance by members of the Claremont High School Choir.
Rome Can Wait—A few irrefutable truths, and a rare love song that mentions poop.
The Pregnancy Test—Getting pregnant is no way to solve one’s problems, not that I would know. Features strings samples from the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
A Muddy Pool full of Turtles (with Mary Royla)—Delirious dreams of the Covid era. Written with Mari Royla and sung by her.
I Hear the Rumors—Man gets dumped, is slow to get it. Musically, Meat Loaf meets Phil Collins, or so I like to think.
I Could Have Been a Sonata—Instrumental piece is self-delusional. Originally written for Music Theory class at Pomona College (no grade—I was auditing)!
REVIEWS
As you can imagine, the album is coming out to rave reviews. Here are just a few:
“An instant classic” (Anonymous)
“Pierre singlehandedly reinvents music for the 21st century” (Pierre's Mom)
“Would be my favorite album ever if I were still alive” (Leonard Cohen)
“Would be my favorite album ever if I were still alive. Wait! I’m still alive!” (Keith Richards)
“Pierre can’t really sing and he has a funny accent” (some guy from another local band, they’re terrible)
“Meat Loaf meets me” (Phil Collins)
I love making music. I hope you get some joy listening to it. Thanks.
