Hi JPF! I have a new CD release called "CHANGE" that I created with my duo partner and our group is called 10 Miles 2 Neptune. All original songs, Tammy Jann (tamsnumber4) wrote the lyrics and the music is by Mike Birch. This is our FIRST CD, would love any feedback on our new, duo group and songs! Hi Tams!
Enjoying your album. Your voice is clear and powerful as ever, and Mike's put some beautiful music to you penetrating lyrics.
My favorites are "Fades to Gray" --love this arrangement, harmonies, and lyrics.
"Tears at Midnight" --kind of a road song to me, your vocals understated but carrying the emotion with stoicism. Beautiful.
"A Storm Is Coming" --my favorite vocal of yours. The verse singing is so beautifully sad. Another killer arrangement and lyric as well.
"Strange Illusions" --masterfully arranged top down from the singing and harmonies to the adventurous orchestration. I love the psychedelic folk element I'm hearing.
Great to hear your new work. The aforementioned songs will no doubt be in heavy rotation, for me.

i mighta bought this cd, if you were a regular here. Ive bought cds from past regulars who have jumped shipped, no more of that.
but good luck with it! i gotta get around to releasing one, what for I dont know...

Thank you so much for actually giving the cd your time, I really appreciate it! I am so excited to see you again!! I will share your feedback with my duo partner. I hope during this down time before FAWM starts back up that I can record and post a song of my own. Thank you so much again!!

I did not post this here with expectations of anyone buying it, but I have been on JPF since 2010 and was taught songwriting by many regulars here and I assure you that I keep in touch with them all. I see Brian and many other members regularly on Facebook and have chatted. I post a few songs a year here, but have become very involved in FAWM. I listen to many of my favorite JPF family and collaborate with them as well. I have never jumped ship, this place is home to me, I don't think we should judge participation and I am sure I will see you here from time to time and wish you good luck if you do work on your own cd.
