The Space at 100 Taylor 100 Taylor, 101 Van Buren St Suite A9, Nashville, TN 37208
Join us for an epic night of music at the Lauren Gunn “Chaos Theory EP” Release Show at The Space at 100 Taylor. The evening will feature Lauren’s music and personal stories behind the songs, and world class performances with her Nashville-based band! Don't miss this chance to meet Lauren and experience her very first EP release in person! Mark your calendars and get ready to rock!
Artist Bio: Intertwining folk sensibilities with indie-rock nuances and ethereal ambience, Lauren is not just a musician... she is a sonic storyteller. Lauren found solace in music from a young age as an award winning classical pianist. As time passed, she drew inspiration from the raw authenticity of songwriters like of Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, and Elton John and has been on a lifelong journey ever since to distill life's moments into words and sounds that resonate with the soul. As a videographer and editor for some of country music’s biggest names (Dolly Parton, Rascal Flatts, and Thomas Rhett to name a few), Lauren has been in the music sphere for the last 10 years working alongside artists to bring their stories to life through visuals. Now stepping out as an artist in her own right, her highly anticipated first project is already generating buzz online. Co-created with producer/drummer Mark Colbert (Kelly Clarkson, Alanis Morissette) in Little Rock, AR, her EP is set to debut this September. Meanwhile, Lauren's first single, Don't Say You Love Me, has already been streamed over 8,000 times in its first four weeks and gained airplay with Illinois 90.1 WEFT’s “First Time Ever” Show. Lauren's candid songwriting is a testament to the highs and lows of love and loss she’s experienced through unemployment, health issues and divorce. Each song is a chapter in her autobiography, revealing layers of introspection that resonate with listeners long after the last chord fades away. Lauren aims to create a space where vulnerability is not only accepted but celebrated. The countdown to Chaos Theory's release has begun, and there's a sense of “electricity" in the air as her second single of the same name was released August 18th. The anticipation is real and Lauren Gunn's journey is about to begin. October 28, 2023 8PM
