https://soundcloud.com/artwhimsically-yours/meet-me-there-in-the-desert-air-by-chris-bright-mfb-iiiWalking beneath the crystal clarity of ten trillion points of light Where God has shed endless dandruff sprinkled liberally on the black velvet sweater of the night. Warm desert breeze ninety-five degrees caressing my hair and face the world sleeps as i wander amidst ancient spirirts and spires The quiet is so loud that I find myself thinking about just how loud the quiet is. Only my cooking fire emits an orange glow the spit above it clean except for the bits of fat that hock thier way into the blazing coals My sleeping bag iies waiting Its belly empty Its comforts not yet met for dreams elude me. Where I chose to camp was used before It holds the remnants of many other nights like these in the ashes of Long dead tumbleweeds and in the bones od meals comsumed now buried in the sand. I am not the first to visit this place Nor will I be the last But tonight it is My prowling ground My howling ground to desecrate or pay tribute to as I so desire. The Cacti stand silent witnesses the rocks mute as my footfalls echo through the canyon walls These monoliths have known for centuries the blackness that swallows all of the dsesolation of this land and they welcome it each evening Morning brings the brutal heatand the relentless struggles to survive again until nightfall shades them Soon the sandman pays a visit even here amidst the vast storehouses of his many grains. My eyes grow burdensome and so I amble back to jot this poem down and get some sleep. Beneath a speckled dome where at long last I am stretched out H O R I Z O N T A L I lie gazing at God's diamonds whose brilliant cuts bedazzle these desert skies Forever married to the earth my eyes blink once, then twice, then thrice and find the absence of all light more suitable to my restless mind. "Goodnight." Magnificient Music Composed & Played by-Chris Bright-©-2023 Lyrics & Vocals Written & Sung by Matthew F. Hmmmm... Obama probably wears shoes that cost more than my old truck.
Only about 5% of the human race is wealthy enough to want for nothing... and, of course, they own everything.
The other 95% of us only know what we're born into, live according to our own desires, and are accountable for the life decisions that we make.
Trailer parks and big city slums are absolutely no indication of intellectual or moral absence. However, unfortunately, they are sanctuaries for the criminally inclined... and those lacking common ambitions.
It is said, "If a man doesn't work then he shouldn't eat." But, contrary to popular belief, personal integrity does not obligate you to slave for scraps from your master's table.
There's much more to life than "keeping up with the Joneses..."

The quiet is so loud that I find myself thinking about just how loud the quiet is.
I did not intend to post, but being a desert lover, that verse describes a shared state of being so exceptionally that I wanted to say so.

"Money is worst reason to be motivated NOT to do anything. Instead of letting those concerns STOP you, use it to motivate yourself to find an alternate solution that bypasses money. You will soon find that your own resourcefulness is worth far more than a pile of paper money." –Brian Austin Whitney
