Love the guitar textures on this one one. Acoustic at beginning is recorded great…Says mix one but this sounds great on a $50 Sony mini blue tooth. I wouldn’t adjust much cause it’s pretty dialed in.

You've got those bursts in your vocal melody that recall Dylan. Interesting song. Really like the toe tapping music once it builds. Music is emotionally evocative and very enjoyable.
My only complaint is that the mix swallows your message. I thought that the song was an interesting take on the subject matter (societal commentary) but when you got into the build, I had a hard time following the lyric because I couldn't discern it very well.

Really, really good song here Ben....every line makes it own statement on society..that's great writing..and Carlin is my comedic hero..he opted out of participating in society and decided to just observe and comment on it...and this feels a bit like that

Because of their POV. They and degrasse see the world for what it really is....and are willing to say what that is.
Your lyrical style is more soaked in cultural references than any songwriter I've ever heard, and it makes for some fun listening.
Your POV, here at least, seems to be one of dealing with the "overload" a culture like ours (and the world at large) produces. A theme that becomes more obvious as the references accumulate. Love it!
Carlin was my hero, too. As a kid with his Class Clown era stuff, then his last few specials, letting his freak flag really fly.
