Henhouse Prowlers Page · Musician/band Bluegrass Ambassadors! www.henhouseprowlers.comTradition and progressive minded Bluegrass. Henhouse Prowlers I was going into a flea market in Southern Ohio and heard a man seated by his merchandise ask a couple if they knew what a tool he held up was used for. They didn't. It had a wooden handle, on a metal rod about three feet long, which curved back and along the shaft about eight inches, a gap between the main shaft and the curved-back part of about an inch and a quarter. "It's for catching chickens!" He explained. The hook caught their legs and you could pull them to you and...ahem...execute your next task. As I passed by I told him, "You stay away from my henhouse! Any man who knows what that tool is used for and has one is a dangerous man!"
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com
