Nature’s Vicious Circle

The Instrumental (Only) version of this song can be heard at:
Agnosturaelwar – Suden-strand-tune-naviarhaiku473

Sudden breeze
every strand of the spiders web is
in tune
as the small
arachnid scrambles around seeking food
trapped in.....

the clutches
of her silky woven lair of despair
now bare.....

Only the rare
passing of a juicy insect in flight

while her eight
eyes lock onto what nature has restocked

then sends her
rushing, hungrily clutching her prey on
that day.....

draining bugs
long lost hopes trapped in thin silky ropes and
sucked dry.

much like all
predators even humans lay traps for
the weak.....

waiting till
they pass by, greed or lustin their eyes as
they pounce.....

then they drain
innocence with no warning or hints as
some die......

but spiders
can fall to a bird with one swoop and a
sharp peck......

just as
predators pay for evil they do
licensed death.......

like bugs with a toxin that drugs them to
their deaths......

true nature
provides what it’s creatures need to survive
they feed......

and Human
nature seeks to insure that evil is cured
trapped and Injected
they bleed.....

far less than
their victims far after their convictions
they die.

A bird is
the spiders executioner for bugs
it killed

Court orders
are the mortar for all evil hearts stilled
God’s will

Beware what
you dare in angst to lay bare and destroy
Justice will........

be deployed
sending your life into deaths darkest void
hell’s toy.

Show respect
to all your peers lest your life end in tears
and fear.

Interesting theme, Matthew, speaking as one who has also written a song about a spider eating a bug. Something about the grisly spectacle is a good source of inspiration smile

I like your depiction of the bird as an executioner and the way you relate the spider's methods with those of the judicial system. Very imaginative and original. Good one!

It's a lot to think about, as songs go.
The storyline is gruesome and laid bare. (lifted from the lyrics)
Yet, it has coherence and cohesiveness. I listened through to the end to see how it played out.

To my ear, not so much a song as poetry/prose with an instrument dissonant-ly in the background playing out a not perfectly parallel emotional track. The instrument is having it's own separate conversation as if someone were at a party standing between and overhearing two different groups of people discussing the same topic.

After re-reading what I just wrote, I don't know if it truly made any sense, but I wrote it anyway and enjoyed your song. wink

Hey Gavin thanks so much. i appreciate your input. The predators of the human variety are Maggots that must be squashed before they are allowed to fly everywhere and spread thier toxic behavior. The spider is basically following the course of nature and he must be fed and he lessens the amount of insects that we all put up with. Without spiders we would be inundated with insects in an endless living hell. Without human predators the world would be so much more beautiful and innocence as well as women's rights would be preserved. I am more prone to squash human predators, i leave the spiders alone. I am an ex-Marine that my wife chuckles at because I hand carry in tissues any spider that enters my home to perserve its existence.

Hey Sunset poet, due to the many thousands of my followers who enjoy my non-genre state of making music. I appreciate your input but I bow to the majority of my listeners. I would love to travel to Norway and Spain and various other places around the world where I work woth musicians from afar. But my budget won't accomodate such travel to be present in a studio with another artist who with me would make perfect recordings rather than the music having a seperate conversation beside conversing with my vocals. Hence I say that i am getting my thoughts and creations out there to let the audience judge them or savor them. You have done both and I am so apprecioative of your listens and your interests.

Well, I don't have any listeners and don't anticipate having any, so you're doing it better than me. Enjoy.
