Hi all, This piece is called " Take your time " because of its tempo: 45 bpm. If someone wants to write lyrics and sing, it could be a good idea. Obviously, I would adjust the volume of the instruments compared with the voice. https://soundcloud.com/christian-devienne/take-your-time

Very emotive. Sounds Jeff Beck-ish in spots. One of these lyric guys around here should jump on it.

I'm digging the groove......if I get any inspiration on theme, I'll share with you. Feels like a combo blues/rock to me.
Very cool!

After a 2nd listen, this could be a great Blues/Rock tune. I do feel (if putting lyrics to it) the first few bars make a great opening verse and would need to be repeated for a 2nd verse before meandering away from that great opening. Its cool as is, almost like a short rhapsody and feels connected being intrumental, but think you could "arrange" this into a really nice song with just verses and maybe a bridge--no chorus needed here as the dominant blues feel is strong enough that no hook is needed or suits this vibe--JMO of course, but I'm impressed!

I listened again... "Where elephants go to die." is the title that I would give it. I'm not being flippant. I think that elephants are wondrous animals and some of the sounds in the beginning of the song cause me to recall the sounds that elephants make. Would somehow relate it to a human theme. Musings...disregard at whim.

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
