It's a good song.
As it comes through my speakers, the electric piano and beat obscure the vocals somewhat. That improves in the chorus.
The frequencies in the beat separate from the vocal more than the piano's do. You all may want the beat to "press against" the listener...I still suggest bringing it down some.
I suggest some gain adjustment on the vocals. some volume fader adjustment on everything. some automation adjustment on the volumes. Instrumentation down in the Verses, up in the choruses.
These are the opinions of a hobbyist audio engineer. A sincere hobbyist, but amateur nonetheless.

Hi Sunset Poet, thanks for the feedback. It always amazes me what you sound engineers can hear. It's hard to get things right if you don't hear what needs to be adjusted and I guess my ears are not the best. I'm just a songwriter who can't even play an instrument properly. Thanks for your suggestions! All the best Robert www.robertbaitinger.de

Hey Tony, you're right. I'm not a singer and I only try to sing when I can't find someone who is interested in singing for me. Thanks for the positive feedback. You made my day!
All the best Robert
