Dunno. Seems to me however you cook Bibi he's going to be distasteful

Does it seem odd he is shrilly urging the USA to be his attack dog in Iran?

If Iran gets nukes and joins forces with Russia... the entire region is going to be a boiling pot! Like it or not, Israel is our only true ally there.

Gen 12-3
"I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you..."
This promise still stands, and there are more "endtime" prophecies that go right along with it.

Anybody missing Trump yet...? Think back, what was the very first thing Trump accomplished as president?

I like some of the stuff that Trump did. Happy with SCOTUS. Border needs to be sealed to whatever extent is fully possible. Wall was fine with me. Jared got some good things done in the Middle East which I didnt think possible. All good.

Tony, read the next sentence closely....The reason that Trump is not president right now is because of all the pointless dkhead things that he would say and the pointless dkhead fights that he would pick. It's time to move on. Julius Caesar was a great general more than anything else. His troops would follow him to hell. He famously took over the Roman republic with his army, but when it was time to run it....we know how that ended.

Bibi and Israel also have a problem. Back in early Reagan days most of the antisemites were conservative and Republicans. After all..."The Jews killed Jesus." Fallwell et al came along and tied this country to Israel's existence with an army of conservative believers and the neocons made the repubs the party of Israel. That army has faded and the antisemites in the Dumbocrat party has swelled significantly. They are now the primary party of vocal antisemiticism. Omar, AOC et al. Bibi was on Fox going to the well again this passed weekend, but the well is drying.

The world is going to end because it is written right here. Right where?

You mean, like all the trash he would talk about the lying, duplicitous, fake media... owned wholly by liberal democrats? Or his relentless, perpetual struggle with the democrat party manufacturing evidence to de-legitimize his presidency? Are you kidding?

I don't see Trump as a bully, Steve. I respect him as a passionate "counter-puncher"... Like myself.

He's a bully. He was a bully on that show and he was bully politician. I voted for him because he was the only politician who screamed back at the liberal machine. But he did it stupid, too many times. And now he is dying of 1000 self inflicted cuts. Walker-Warnock will be a good indicator of Trump's standing.

Celebrity
Salacious past
hypocritical private versus public self

Perspective is a lot.
I'm 70 this month. I was born/raised in Birmingham. I've seen sh.t for myself. Back in the 60's, I dated a girl who lived next door to the deacon's daughter who was shipped off to NYC for an abortion. I could go on-and-on. The gist of what I wrote is accurate. I've heard 'em say it when no one that was listening could hurt em..

The difference between you and me Tony....
I question the accuracy of the score on both sides of the scoreboard.
You accept one side without question and rebuke the other without question. And for you, that's inescapable. wink

Marty, there may be huge philosophical differences between us, but as a Christian playing both sides to the middle, for you to say that I'm politically biased and blinded is truly an insult. The biggest differences between you and I are opinions and facts, and I believe liars and thieves deserve what they get...

Tony
It's not my intent to be personally insulting. I like what I know of you. We are having a debate and my intent is to present a truthful point of view.
If that is insulting to you, I regret that and am sorry.

With all the evidence that lays in plain view concerning DJT going back decades...if you do not consider him a liar (or a thief), I'm confounded by that. If he had stiffed you for your work on one of his buildings, or made misrepresentations to you in a real estate deal, you might view him differently.

Having said that....if 2024 only offers DJT versus Joe or Kamala or Pete or Bernie or Pocahontas or AOC or Gavin Newsome...I'll vote for Donald.

What has the world become?

I'm a retired independent contractor, and have worked for commercial contractors all my life. Yeah', the business is crooked as hell! The only evidence you need of that is the 30yr mortgage standard lol... However, that would be precisely the biggest reason why I believe Trump when he says "we need to drain the swamp". It has been the banks, especially with regard to realty, dictating business practices for a long time now... "wagging the dog" so to speak, in conjunction with the Fed regulating undesirable competition out of business, and inflating market values for their own profits.

Trump is the thief? Seriously Marty, WAKE UP!

I only judge Trump by what "I've" seen him "DO".
And... what he does is piss off and embarrass "the elite" who have no interest in fixing a broken system.

He is a disrupter Tony. That is why I voted for him and will again if he is one of two choices.

But honest and virtuous? ...I'm not gonna lie to myself. He ain't.

You really should lay off the "propa-ganja" Marty... "YOUR" bias (and Steve's) is so ridiculously obvious it's actually kinda' funny. Trump has never tried to pass himself off as anyone's "messiah"... He's not even a politician lol. He's just a very "plain spoken" businessman trying to do the right thing in the wrong place.

My bias is ridiculously obvious and funny?
I have voted for Trump twice...so far.

"He's not even a politician lol."
Are you kidding? Look up the word.

So it is me who is willingly seeking and drinking the purple kool-aid. And Mike Pence, dubious personality that he is, is also a spreader of "propa-ganja" and presumable failure in his service to God for the sin of certifying the election.

Whatever Tony. Just what-the-heck ever. wink

Question for you?
As for the band of morons that stormed the capitol and destroyed any possibility of getting a look at Pennsylvania's voting machines, as well as supplied their enemies with all they could have hoped for in the propaganda wars...

Would the republic have been better served had they found Pence, taken him captive and made an example of him for the world to see?

Lol... I can only answer that question with a question;
Being that the White House, the Capitol building of the USA, is the most heavily guarded, well defended, and secure piece of real estate on the planet... What makes you think an un-armed pro-Trump band of morons was actually capable of circumventing its 24/7/365 contingencies against attack so easily...? Why isn't the current administration "embarrassed" about that?

And, who gives a damn about Pence? I can think of several more worthy adversaries to make examples of...

I am not privy to the information that would answer your first question with certainty.

What do I personally think...?
I think that Trump ignited a mob and then window dressed with a little talk about being "peaceful" with the tacit intent of wanting them to storm the place. Which they did.

What do I wonder...?
I wonder if Pelosi and Schumer saw it coming and let it happen to gain leverage. If so, it worked. It kept Trump in the news as the fire starter of an "insurrection" and gave them a mid term gain. A couple of dead people resulted, but not an apparent matter of concern. Damaging Donny was the prize.

Watching video of the fools breaking down doors and windows was a sad day.
But karma may have balanced the scales on Pelosi.

And your assessment of Pence? It's a lot different than mine.

"And, who gives a damn about Pence?"

Not at all what I would expect to see from someone who bangs on the Jesus/Christianity drum as much as you do Tony.
Franky, your brand of Christianity is starting to look midieval or reconstruction era....in this post...to me.

How does Marjorie Taylor Greene fit in all of this?

She is already on the hunt with her latest idiotically enhanced bravado say what?

Is she one of Satan's or one of the good guys?

The Bible was first pulled together about 313AD.
Over the centuries, through various translations, it has changed in some ways.

There were 3 separate Papacies at one point in the 1300s.
There was the Great Schism, when Byzantium fell away from Rome and ultimately ended up as the Russian Orthodox after Constantinople fell.
There was the Church of England and Henry 8 who just wanted a divorce.
And then, there were uncountable arguments. At a young age I myself got to watch a church break in two over the interpretation of "the word."
There are offshoots like LDS who add there own testaments.

As for Pence...
He is a decent man and a Christian. As disgusting as DJT was at times, Pence never spoke against him and he kept his eye on his prize...abortion.
I personally dont care who gets an abortion. If someone feels strongly enough to do it, I aint gonna try and stop them. I do agree that ROE was not a federal issue and am glad they struck it down.

Trump achieved the SCOTUS that delivered Dobbs. For Pence, that was a big score that led to the biggest score...DOBBS. That was the big score for the entire Christian faction. For Trump to dump on Pence like he did was barbaric.

"YOUR" bias (and Steve's) is so ridiculously obvious it's actually kinda' funny.

Of course I’m biased against anyone who is as evil as the Head M.A.G.got and I didn’t make up the things I said about his royal Hyenas. That’s all on the record. Oh, and I forgot... he’s a racist. The sadness is he has sucked you into believing he’s a “plain spoken” businessman. But lets remember the most important thing, he got his butt kicked by sleepy Joe...ouch that hurts...

Being that the White House, the Capitol building of the USA, is the most heavily guarded, well defended, and secure piece of real estate on the planet....

Who says so?

What makes you think an un-armed pro-Trump band of morons was actually capable of circumventing its 24/7/365 contingencies against attack so easily...

think really hard, the answer’s ridiculously obvious....

And, who gives a damn about Pence..

I give a damn about Pence and I’m not an American, I’m not a conservative and I am for sure not a fan of Pence....the reason I give a damn about him is he is a decent human being who did the right thing by overseeing the counting of the Electoral College votes and certifying the results of the most secure election in the history of your country (That's part of his Job description, duh).... He also showed his loyalty to your Constitution and your country. If that is not ridiculously obvious........

Destroying Trump is ridiculously easy...in 2nd place..slipping the punches of the slow footed counter punching American....JAPOV LOL

I agree 100% with you, Marty, notwithstanding the 14th amendment....the irony is the decision is now a weapon being used by the Dems to IMO solidify the right to an abortion in the US which no party wanted to touch for 50 years

I think all the Dems are sending Donnie a Christmas card this year.LOL

DJT is vain enough to think that the Dems sent the card because they love him.
They didn't touch abortion for 50 years because they never had a court that would reverse it.

The whole abortion issue fogs my brain Steve.
I don't have a stand to take if someone gets an abortion. Neither for or against it. If someone decides to get one, then they do.
But in the later stages of pregnancy, it is undesirably gruesome to contemplate.
I personally don't get being a zealous pro-abortion crusader. Some of these people are acting like they are saving France from the English. Doesn't make sense to me. (a lot of things don't)
My advice is to focus on not getting pregnant.

Onward thru the fog. Happy Thanksgiving.

We live in the age of surveillance. Cameras (attached to facial recognition systems), satellites, street sensors, license plate readers, drones, credit cards, computers, phones, televisions, “smart” devices, and other technologies watch every move we make. Corporations use this avalanche of data to make money. But does it work? Not always. According to Business Insider, Amazon is on track to lose $10 billion dollars on its Alexa division this year. That’s billion… with a “B.”

Amazon is big, but the loss of that kind of money still hurts. According to Macrotrends, “Amazon net income for the twelve months ending September 30, 2022 was $11.323 billion.” So, on paper at least, Alexa losses this year will almost equal Amazon’s profit. What do they hope to gain from Alexa in the future that makes it worth that level of loss today?

Alexa is a cloud-based personal assistant. The original idea was that it would build brand loyalty to Amazon by giving people easy access to things like the weather or favorite music. Planners had also hoped to make it easier for people to order products from Amazon. That part hasn’t worked too well. It turns out that people want to see products (or at least pictures of those products) before they buy them.

But Alexa is more than an assistant. It is also a massive data vacuum cleaner. It sucks up information about you at unprecedented levels. By default, the microphones on Alexa devices are always on. They are required to be on so that Alexa can know when you are addressing it, and then follow your instructions. Amazon says that Alexa only listens for key words that “wake up” the device. But that’s something we just have to take their word for.

A few years ago, Samsung admitted that its smart TVs listen to all kinds of things. “Please be aware,” Samsung warned, “that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party through your use of Voice Recognition.”

Samsung openly warns us to be careful what we say in the vicinity of their smart TVs. They record conversations and send them to Samsung computers. Their user agreement then allows them to sell the data contained in those conversations — no matter how private — to third parties. The good news is that you can turn off voice commands on the TV. The bad news is that you have to take their word for the fact that Samsung microphones (and cameras) are really off.

What do these companies do with all that data? If Alexa is any indicator, they do not make money with it. But government has lots of uses for it, and in the future will be able to tap into it at will. Services such as Alexa were originally built to make money and serve customers. Sadly, the companies that built them were unknowingly building the infrastructure of Antichrist.

No, you don't have to be a "techno-phobe" to be a Christian lol. But, you should certainly be aware that the technology required to run a one world government and one world banking/monetary system has already been in place for many years now. If you're spending money, you're being tracked and monitored...

[i]Hal has outdone himself with this moronic dribble

We live in the age of surveillance. Cameras (attached to facial recognition systems), satellites, street sensors, license plate readers, drones, credit cards, computers, phones, televisions, “smart” devices, and other technologies watch every move we make.

Yes, Hal, we all know this. What’s your point? I don’t see worldwide mass demonstrations aimed at stopping this.... in fact, decades ago we had party line telephone systems where you could listen in on conversations of other people in the community talking on their phone..most people, today, are fine with the levels of surveillance, and there are watchdogs watching the surveillance people. Just ask the FBI, when they try to get a password from Apple for one of their phones.

Corporations use this avalanche of data to make money. But does it work? Not always. According to Business Insider, Amazon is on track to lose $10 billion dollars on its Alexa division this year. That’s billion… with a “B.”

Amazon is only in the Alexa business to make money, and nothing else. If, in the end it doesn’t, they shut her down...simple as that..it may also be used as a loss leader to have greater retention of clients.

Because they have Alexa, they have a plan as to how Alexa fits into their corporate strategy. Present customer retention is uppermost on the minds of corporate decision makers. If Alexa prevents customer loss then overall the corp is stronger. Time and tweaks will be the determining factor.

What do they hope to gain from Alexa in the future that makes it worth that level of loss today?

Read above

What do these companies do with all that data? If Alexa is any indicator, they do not make money with it.

Amazon has a rationale for Alexa and it is not as nefarious as you seem to imply.

If you're spending money, you're being tracked and monitored...

Duh...thanks for the info Hal

But government has lots of uses for it, and in the future will be able to tap into it at will

This is just a scare tactic

Services such as Alexa were originally built to make money and serve customers.

That is still the case...end of conversation..

Sadly, the companies that built them were unknowingly building the infrastructure of Antichrist.

Scare tactic number 2....took you long enough to get here Hal...you must be getting old..like your articles

Just some thoughts[i]

Stupidly redundant? Am I understanding you correctly Steve?

So, you're saying everyone is already well aware that data mining and surveillance is as it should be for the sake of commerce, and the easiest way to control the entire world's population is to control the way people buy, sell, and trade on a world wide scale... right? Like, this is all just common sense and doesn't even need to be said?

Wrong...where did I say "as it should be for the sake of commerce"?? Stupidly miequoted

I'm just stating facts...yes everyone is well aware of data mining and surveillance...they just don't do much about it ...and with cell phone technology today, everyone is filming everyone, everywhere and ain't nothing gonna be done about that..just ask the first amendment

personally I don't give a hoot about anybody having me under surveillance or data mining anything of mine....I've been here, free as a bird for 75 years and no one has bothered me yet..mind you I live in Canada where I'm positive that never happens here...LOL

and the easiest way to control the entire world's population is to control the way people buy, sell, and trade on a world wide scale...stupidly redundant misquote

I didn't say that because I just don't buy into this whole world gov crap...

the main issue is IMHO mass indifference, JAPOV and it's been here forever and it's everywhere

Here's the opening verse of Phil Ochs song from 1967 "Outside of a Small Circle of Friends"

[Verse 1]
Oh, look outside the window, there's a woman bein' grabbed
They've dragged her to the bushes, and now she's bein' stabbed
Maybe we should call the cops and try to stop the pain
But Monopoly is so much fun, I'd hate to blow the game
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
Outside of a small circle of friends

that's mass indifference 55 years ago..I used to sing it on stage back then

By the way my song "Do You Hear The Call", which I posted here at JPF, addresses mass indifference and never received one comment or critique(the only one of the 20+ songs I've posted)...mass indifference or just bad songwriting???

... right? Like, this is all just common sense and doesn't even need to be said?

Oh it's common knowledge, not common sense ....it can be said but I'm not buying his Antichrist twist

Mass Indifference?
Then why are you so angry with Hal and I?
You're like the atheist who's angry with God because Christians won't quit trying to understand the Bible LOL...
Look in the mirror, Steve... YOUR intolerant brand of apathy won't encourage anyone to be any less indifferent.

This is funny... nice try though..trying to once again deflect away from Hal to me..that's getting old...you seem incapable of defending Hal so you attack me

I'm not angry now nor have I ever been angry with you...and I am not angry with Hal...Hal just needs to be called out for what he is...a con man.... who tries to scare Christians with his chicken little routine for his own financial benefit...he's so pathetic that making a mockery of his shtick is so easy

and please spare me the attempt to compare me to an atheist...I only want to keep people, Christian or otherwise away from the Hals of the world

my intolerant brand of apathy...now that's rich LOL

and yes mass indifference is the issue IMHO

Anyway I'm done with this episode of Halism but once again thanks for the opportunity to serve....1,2,3

Tony,
Just for clarification and educational purposes, please spell out how an apathetic person can muster up enough non-apathy to be actively intolerant? I'm sure that you have some web to spin regards the answer and I look forward to hearing it.

The same way an atheist is angry with God because Christians won't shut up lol. Surely you realize it's possible to be so emotionally invested in your own justification for anger that rational cognitive reasoning becomes irrelevant...

Steve

Same page. I was just about to type....

"Tony, in my 70 years of existence as an earthly being, it has been my unfailing observation that people who adamantly accuse others of some lesser motive do so because they are so personally possessed of the lesser motive and know it intimately."

Then I read what you wrote Steve, and decided that you already nailed it. wink

Tony...question...

How can an atheist be mad at God if he/she doesn't believe that God exists to be mad at in the first place?

Sadly, the companies that built them were unknowingly building the infrastructure of Antichrist.

The China's government succeeded on that better than others...their "social rating" is a real digital slavery...
but let's look further:
it looks like their colleagues from western countries follow this trend..

I think it's obvious that western ideals are leaning more toward global governance and control every day. However, I believe the US would rather be the center of global government rather than simply join in. It won't work though; Europe and eastern Asia are simply too large and self sufficient to even care what the US brings to the global table.

It won't work though; Europe and eastern Asia are simply too large and self sufficient to even care what the US brings to the global table.

So no global guv gonna work. Therefore no anti-Christ? No Armageddon? No more chicken-little / end-is-nigh posts from Tony?
That's a relief. wink I can stop stocking the basement with beef jerky and bottled water.

Can you believe the Biden administration is actually worried that Elon Musk is going to tell the truth about, and provide evidence of, Twitter's biased censorship?

There is no need to tell the truth about Twitter censorship. It's an open secret. Nothing will change.
Dumbocrats dont care if it is right or wrong. If it furthers their aims, they're fine with it. Caring about the truth on either side is over-with.
Unless some specific "the truth" can be weaponized.

JAPOV.... this is getting funnier by the minute....imagine 139 lies told by Biden in a year and a bit... Trump does that every day before he gets out of bed...and he's not even a politician who are known to occasionally tell lies LOL

of course that doesn't include the ones he tells Melania about where he was the night before...
