The grounds of Shreveport, Louisiana and Karnack, Texas heavily influenced Jake’s life. That is where he not only grew up but he grew to love country music but even more so, playing and writing country music. Jake considers himself a backwoods boy at heart. Herding cattle, riding horses and working on the ranch is a life all too familiar to him; but so is one with country music. In high school, he began playing at local restaurants and events and has now ventured outside of Texas and Louisiana to perform. Most recently, Jake’s single Small Town Love, was released and recorded by Rosewood Studios in Tyler, TX. The single is available for listen on all major music listening streams.

Jake said he is often asked the question on who inspired his musical sound and writing. He listed the following, Elvis Presley, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Jr., George Strait and recent country music stars, Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Morgan Wallen and Ernest.

“The best part about putting on shows and events is seeing everyone’s energy and connecting with the crowd,” Jake said.

“I give all my success to the Good Lord Above for making all this happen, I am also thankful my parents have continued to push me and support me through this dream. I am beyond thankful for this opportunity.” – Jake Williams

There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you?
