HOW FAST ARE YOU GOING (WHEN YOU’RE STANDING STILL)
c2021 Brian Beecher
Potential for confusion Is very strong today You may be feeling sensitive Toward what anyone may say
Your feelings may get hurt as you Misunderstand what someone said And thus lead to saying something To make you wish you were dead
How fast are you going When you’re standing still Are you seeing danger When there’s no need to make a kill
Some healthy excitement Can be good if you have the will How fast are you going When you’re standing still
This is a great time to put your Ideas in to motion Could be the doer of great deeds If you should have the notion
It can give you the kick in the butt For to finish what you s tart Building a solid foundation That will be dear to your heart
How fast are you going When you’re standing still Are you seeing danger When there’s no need to make a kill
Some healthy excitement Can be good if you have the will How fast are you going When you’re standing still
