This is a recently started service that custom writes lyrics and songs for specific occasions based on input by those submitting requests

Seems the site has caught on and has lots of work for songwriters with recording capabilities

seems very similar to fiverr, pay a contractor to write you a song.

I recall this idea floated around for decades, all the "how to have a hit song" books all suggested starting a personlized songwriting service, to make money while waiting for your next hit.

Looks like this one actually got some traction. I wonder if there is a catch, a membership fee, this way they make money when nobody else does.

Who really wants a customized song? How many people REALLY are looking to have a custom song made lol. or the main key how would anybody even know there was such a service.

I recall watching Shark Tank, and this guy pitched his "I want to draw a cat for you" business, which i thought they were gonna kick him to the curb, but marc cuban made an offer. I guess the trick is marketing. It would need to be so known about, that it was common place. I doubt anybody is making money on that though. I mean if somebody wants a custom song, they probably want to write it themselves.

Actually read an article in our Globe and Mail newspaper about the founders this morning and they have more business than they can handle, hence the hiring blitz

People contribute their ideas and info about the person, the occasion etc and it appears there's lots of occasions for use

Well that's surprising, cause the idea has been around forever. Still wonder if they make their money from users becoming members with fees. But, hey, if it works it works.

Who wants a song written by somebody else to tell your wife you love her, lol. "Lets see, how can I rhyme love"

I think if anything, there would be more a market for somebody to turn their love poems into a song.

People pay per song...it's a task for hire

So you have to be able to write and record a song to their standards within 3 days...if you can, you can sign up for gigs

Donno, i dont see the value to the customer, i do see the value to the site and somewhat the musicians. But,you have to wonder how much business you would get.

Well the idea of posting this is to give folks who can write and record songs....and there are a good number here...an opportunity to sign up to a service where they can make some money

its not a bad idea, should also be on fiver, and all those sites to maximize your reach. But its alot of work. I know for myself, my own stuff is hard work. I take it more seriously than i probably should, still just a demo, but its alot of work from pen to mastering.
