She Is

She’s got the look of a spy
With secrets to sell
You get lost in her eyes
And the stories they tell

Your heart beats double time
At the sound of her name
And you’d kill for that smile
That puts the stars to shame

Chorus
She is ev’ry mem’ry that you’ll ever keep
She is why the sun rises and sets
She is ev’rything you’ll ever need
She is as good as love ever gets

She’s like the soft melody
That ev’ry summer sings
And she’s the autumn breeze
That each October brings

She’s got the heart and the soul
Of a Harlem choir
And you spend all your nights
Lost in dreams she inspires

Chorus

Bridge:
She is the Roxanne
That Cyrano pined for
And she’s the Dulcinea
That Quixote would die for
She’s the Esmeralda
You’d live your life for
She is

Chorus

Thanks for checking this out. The demo was done by producer Dan Drilling and his crew at Panda Productions in Nashville. I wrote the song but didn't have a particular arrangement in mind. My instructions were to approach the song as a breezy ballad and as you can hear they pulled it off in spades. I don't have the particulars on the players but I've never gotten anything less than impressive results from them.

Feels so laid back and easy listening..nice groove and really nice vocal,,just a small nit...being a big fan of Man of La Mancha (Don Quixote), you're singing Dul si anna... it should be Dul sin eh ya lol.. you gotta pitch this tune to Michael Buble

Hi, Steve. Glad you like the tune. I wrote Dulcinea and sang it that way on the simple demo I sent to the studio. The gentleman that sang on this version mispronounced it.

I'm so glad you clarified that..being a member of the Quixote police force, I didn't want to report the incident...,.LOL
