THE SEEDS WOULD GROW
c2020 Brian Beecher
Planting seeds for new beginnings When it’s on eclipse, it’s extremely unnerving You would then want to spend more time with Friends and family
The seeds would grow then drift away The seeds would grow then drift away Drifting away from me
Other circumstances prevent you from them Need to make changes but forget to count to ten Embrace the changes and see what happens next Seems you have forgot me
The seeds would grow then drift away The seeds would grow then drift away Drifting away from me
Responsibilities and maybe loneliness Feeling overwhelmed by the demands of others Circumstances have gotten to you Is that why you forgot me
Is there a reason you’re being shut down Too big an effort just to go into town Is our relationship no longer serving you Please tell me baby
The seeds would grow then drift away The seeds would grow then drift away Drifting away from me
The seeds would grow then drift away The seeds would grow then drift away Drifting away from me

Hey Brian , I like the poetic idea of this lyric.
I'm thinking and imagining dandelions, you know flower for a time then turn into filament that gets drifted away to nothing.
The music would be light and airy to start? The video would be the face of the love interest, clear at first, but then fading ghostlike and gone.
The third verse has more tangible realism....the music might get more demanding and punchy....but the resovle to the "drift and fade to end.

https://soundcloud.com/wbdraper/the-seeds-would-growwavI improvised some music only. It is very reflective and has a "drift" to it. What do you think? Bill

Hello Brian,
Ok, it will be good practice. Looks like 4 verses and a chorus.
I'll start with a melody for the chorus.
Then a melody for the verse.
It will go slow, I'm just learning.
I'll post music links here and then you can approve or not approve....see how it goes.
