See what I see Verse I’ve walked among the diamonds Scattered on the lawn. Seen the morning sun shining At the break of dawn. Pre chorus Oh won’t you come walking Oh won’t you come see. What a wonderful world. That this earth can be. Chorus Take my hand come along. See what I see. Take my hand come along. See what I see. Bridge Musical break Verse I’ve dived into the ocean. Explored the deep sea. Heard the music of sirens Calling out to me. Pre chorus Oh won’t you come walking Oh won’t you come see. What a wonderful world. That this earth can be. Chorus Take my hand come along. See what I see. Take my hand come along. See what I see. Verse I’ve climbed atop a mountain. Marveled at the view. Seen the setting sun burning. Wished I was with you. Pre chorus Oh won’t you come walking Oh won’t you come see. What a wonderful world. That this earth can be. Chorus Take my hand come along. See what I see. Take my hand come along. See what I see.

I think you can dig a little deeper here... Take a walk through South Philly and try to see the beauty in it...

In an alley where the lights don't shine And the trash is blown by the wind An old man huddled behind a dumpster Shares a can of beans with a friend...

On a busy noonday sidewalk Where nobody dares say hello Among the decay and suits of grey There's one dressed like a rainbow

A nice simple lyric, Carroll. I particularly like the first two lines, and the "wished I was with you" at the end.
Tony, you have the makings of a great song there. A completely different one, of course.

Well... If CK wasn't such a great "rhythmic" writer, I wouldn't be so inspired! Besides, I just know, one day, our heads are really going to come together on something

In the darkness where rats gather round To watch a drug deal going down. Their greedy eyes in search of a prize. A body falls a new meal found.
The tender parts the lips the ears. They're the delicious parts. Have to eat and run then retreat. In the cover of dark.
One man's misery is another's feast Welcome to the belly of the beast.
There's the broken there's the hopeless. There's the predators and prey. There's the wealthy in their towers. The ones who have the say.
One mans misery is another's feast. Welcome to the belly of the beast.
The sheep are shorn the meek don't speak. The ghettos at war. Liberals cry ban the guns feed them lies. The nation is torn.
Pockets lined with silver, pockets full of gold. Release the criminals ,condemn the old.
One mans misery is another's feast. Welcome to the belly of the beast.

During this times society's feelings are intense for sure. Would have been more so if the George Floyd verdict had gone a different way like things did in Los Angeles nearly three decades ago. But that time the unrest didn't spread across the entire nation and even world as it did last year. I live outside of Chicago and there is so much violence in some pockets of the city and yet as a whole the city seems to be sterilized to the point that it's almost boring. The poor among us are much more hidden than they once were.

Oh please... I never thought in a million years that Derek Chauvin would be convicted of murder... in broad daylight... with three other cops... in the middle of the street... in front of cameras...
His chief fuc%!ng LIED!

I don't know all the facts but it appears he was guilty. That being said the verdict was cast months ago in the public eye. The media tried and convicted him long before he was brought to court. They seem hell bent on driving a wedge between races.

If Derek Chauvin actually put enough of his weight on "drug addict Floyd's" neck to kill him... 1) we would have all seen an entirely different video, 2) the other cops would have stopped him, 3) there would have been evidence in the autopsy report, 4) THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO NEED FOR A DAMN TRIAL!!!
