Love in the lost and found Verse They go in hopes of finding A smile to make their day Something misplaced or stolen Maybe a heart that strayed. Pre chorus It’s a dim lit bar where broken hearts. Look for what they’ve lost. Where they sit and drink and make small talk. And try to thaw the frost. Chorus They’re hoping they’ll find somebody Who’ll love them next time around. Only the lonely go looking For love in the lost and found. Verse They go and think just maybe. This time they will find love. Someone lonely or broken. Maybe a heart to trust. Pre chorus It’s a dim lit bar where broken hearts. Look for what they’ve lost. Where they sit and drink and make small talk. Look like abstract art. Chorus They’re hoping they’ll find somebody Who’ll love them next time around. Only the lonely go looking For love in the lost and found. Bridge They sit at the bar, search of a star That they can take home They sit at the bar, search of a star But go home alone.

I have an old song very similar to this... But I like your idea of naming a bar "The lost and found"

I really like the idea of the bar being named "The Lost and Found" could you add something to that imagery? Maybe talk about the regulars, or someone new that comes in? Just a thought.

Rewrote verse 2 and bridge.
Chorus They’re hoping they’ll find somebody Who’ll love them the next go round Only the lonely go looking For love in the lost and found. Verse Joe goes and thinks just maybe. Some girl will look his way Mary’s lonely and hoping. She’ll take home a stray. Pre chorus It’s a dim lit bar where broken hearts. Look for what they’ve lost. Where they sit and drink and make small talk. Look like abstract art. Chorus They’re hoping they’ll find somebody Who’ll love them the next go round. Only the lonely go looking For love in the lost and found. Bridge They’ve had love they’ve lost it. It’s left them with scars. They want love the need it. Hope it’s in this bar.
