Thanks Everett. It's a personal de-conversion, de-evangelization journey for me, and this album is the soundtrack.

Not sure what you mean by de-conversion. Are you or were you a Christian and now you are falling away from your beliefs. Why?

yes sir. A former christian. Ironically, I de-converted after I read the bible thoroughly.

This album is a "success" in the sense that it's a concept album, and chronicles elements of my de-conversion.

Inspired by the Harold Hill book,which is supposed to teach children about the real story of how the universe came about. By mostly ridiculing evolution. Sorry, but science has the truth on this topic, and the evidence is irrefutable. You can ridicule science all you want, it still makes more sense than myths and tall tales.

If you really think about it, from the goo, to the zoo, to you, is the real deal, and not to be ridiculed, nor should we be ashamed of the fact that there is no doubt that we evolved from “simpler” life forms.

I'm sorry that you've lost you faith. I was later in life coming to faith and I would not turn back now because I see the bible fast becoming true every day. To believe evolution takes more faith than believing in God. We did not evolve from slime in the ocean into monkeys and into people. God invented science and more and more scientist are realizing that God is real. God uses scientist to discover things that God wants reveled in the last days. People get earth and world mixed up when it comes to creation. This earth may very well be millions of years old but this world is not. To God a day is a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. This world as we know it is not all that old, but there may have been worlds here before and destroyed. We don't have access to that knowledge but we do know that the world was destroyed in Noah's day because of sin. So how many times before might it have been done. We can not please God with out faith, so by faith I believe the bible. If I am wrong, I've lost nothing, if you are wrong, you've lost everything..

Thanks for the thoughts sir, nothing to be sorry about. I've been in "the faith" a long time, been in a lot of "ministries" and have read the bible many times, and the more I read, the less sense it made to me.

I do respect your beliefs and wish you all the luck.

I see a respectful conversation among two mature adults, with maybe differing points of view, but no "showdown" nor attacks.

I agree with BratCave. I was doing what the bible tells me to do. If I see a brother heading the wrong way toward destruction, I am suppose to warn him, if I don't his destruction can be charged to my soul. That was all I was doing, friendly pointing out what I believe to be a mistake turning away from God. I was not attacking him, just doing my duty as a fellow Christian.
