but id say even VH would have a hard time doing what he was doing there. Hell never be VH soloing.
But we use the term genius kind of loosely, id call this kids playing genius. But like most things, musicianship in and of itself is not what draws people, in his case its the spectacle of it. But who would buy it?
Yeah, i dont know if theres anything to it, but im seeing alot more foreign born people killing it on youtube, im sure ther are Americans too, but I wonder if our culture is heading a different way...

In theory what these folks are doing is right. First you draw the traffic, and they all have links to their own music. Usually their own music isn't as good... But, I wonder how many people actually buy? With those amounts of hits, they might make enough from youtube views alone.

if you make 2,000 on a million views, these folks are getting a million views per video. They might have 25-30 videos currently, and will keep adding. the one gal had 55 million views combined, 55 x 2,000 Shes already made 110, 000 K. May not be consistent, and it may slow down, but thats not a bad piece of change,
and for doing what? Didnt have to go nowhere, was going to be playing anyway.
Getting a million views is difficult however,,, 55 million seemingly impossible, but many have done it
right.. but for each YouTuber getting a million plays, there are possibly a million getting 1 play. Just like the music industry. Only they made WAY more money than 2K or even 20K or 200K. That's the problem. There are no ways for outsiders to make money online, even less than 20 years before the internet. We've all gone backwards.

Oh no doubt, getting the hits is still the key. But thats anything, if you have interest and can draw people, you can be successful. Even gigs, the bands that do well in clubs are the ones who can draw people.
With all the clutter on youtube, you need to do something so amazing...different, unique, where people say...I have NEVER seen anything like this before.
Im not thinking for one minute I can get that many hits. But it does intrique me, why somebody gets a million hits, and others who are really good in their own right, cant get 1000
Then again, you might be able to get millions of hits being bad too. Its a crap shoot. Viral Videos are at least something you can try, without having to spend a fortune, or taking your life away
What if somebody could get 10 million views in a few years.... through posting new videos every day. They could still make 10 grand. Which they werent going to make otherwise
Frankly youtube should be paying more, they have big companies advertising on these videos
If anyone wants to add more stuff, just post the links and any moderator can swith them to embedded videos like above! Please just do one at a time though.

Pretty hot... and her drummin aint bad either. Im tellin ya, theres something going on with these foreign born musicians. They are getting back to playing real instruments. This is an electric kit, but still shes playing it. Notice the tempo changes and dynamic changes that make it interesting. Not my style of music but... and 15 MILLION hits.
