FRANKFORT, Ky. (Nov. 12, 2020) — Gov. Andy Beshear announced four Kentuckians will receive Kentucky’s most prestigious arts awards in recognition of their dedication to sharing Kentucky’s rich arts history with the Citizens of the commonwealth.
Joining past recipients including Wendell Berry, James Still, Jean Ritchie, Homer Ledford and many others, we are proud to let you know Gov. Beshear and the Kentucky Arts Council present the coveted 2020 MILNER AWARD and Governor's Award in the Arts to folksinger Michael Johnathon.
