Hello JPF! I've been away at FAWM and trying to overcome the new reality, but thought that this video I just did for a collaboration with Cindy Prince (Cindyrella) would be a good way of re-introducing myself to you friends who I have missed... Yes, that is me and I'm getting old...LOL!! I am playing my NEW Nylon String Takamine!! So, Cindy wrote these lyrics, which I found relatable, I composed the music and sing it, but I still haven't recorded it on my Tascam yet. Let me know your thoughts, or at least say hi....I have been missing my musical friends!! YOUTUBE LINK: When Can I Kiss You Again? by Cindy Prince and Tammy Jann © 2020 I miss your lips I miss your taste I miss you holding me Around my waist I miss your touch I miss your kiss But most of all I miss your tenderness Chorus When can you hold me close? I hate how long it's been I am needing a dose When can I kiss you again? Bridge I can't sleep Can't eat Miss your lips So sweet, sweet, sweet, so sweet I miss your passion You pushing back my hair I miss so much right now Sometimes life isn't fair I miss your fire The way you look at me How I long for you now To hold me tenderly Chorus When can you hold me close? I hate how long it's been I am needing a dose When can I kiss you again? When can I kiss you again?

Hi Tammy. Excellent performance. I am impressed by the recording quality of this live recording. Did you use a computer mic? It really came out very clearly. Quality live recording. Not only impressed by the the recording though, the song as well is high quality as is your singing voice, as well. Enjoyed it very much. Congrats on the new Takamine. Sounding good.

Tammy.........what a nice song. The flow is beautiful, and very crafty. Love the video, and you really are a natural in front of the camera. The singing is as great as I remember. Your guitar playing has VASTLY improved over the few years, since you've started. Great songwriting.....great performances.......great seeing you, again!! -Tom
Oh, by the way.....most of my acoustic recordings are made with my Takamine ;-)

Great collaboration, Tammy: Kudos all around! Enjoyed everything about it. Wishing you success with it and wouldn't be surprised if somebody with star-power doesn't tack it on their next album.
Thanks for sharing. ----Dave

I enjoyed your song. You're not getting older- you're getting better. This kinda had a vibe like "Smooth operator" by Sade.

I thought you sung that very well-nice tune! Because of the song's title I would have thought the 2V last line would be, " I miss your kiss" To be honest line 3 of the chorus is not a good one. Best of luck! -Mike

Hi Tammy Well that was sweet! Nicely constructed song and great performance. Good hook - nice jazzy stylishness - reminded me of Karen Carpenter or Carole King - which in my mind is high praise. No nits from me - would be nice to hear a full up production on this. cheers Paul

Nice one. I really like the strum hook, the tempo change at the bridge (third "sweet" was so nicely sung), overall the rtythmic feel, and I've always been a fan of songs with a break before a verse :-) Only issue for me was a ringing at 3.4khz that made it hard to listen to at full volume. There's another at 4.7khz. Notch them out and it sounds much better

Tams,
That was fun to watch and listen to—great stuff. What a wonderful vocal! Agree that I’d love to hear a full production of this. As for the getting old . . . well, aren’t we all?
Stay well and healthy,
All my best,
Deej

Dave,
Good to see you again!! Thanks for listening, I recorded it with an older Canon camera, I need to drag out my Tascam, but I've been lazy, I'm very behind in making recordings. Thanks again!!

Dave,
Thank you so much for listening and for the confidence in the song. I have no delusions that anyone would pick up a song of mine, but it is nice that you think they should...it is a special thought...thank you!!

Hey do this one in a Smokey bar dressed in 30’s garb looking your sultry self
I wonder what your song would sound like if you used a Rhodes as the lead instrument and full jazz production?

ANT,
Nice to see you again! Thanks for giving this a listen, glad you liked it....I'm afraid that this is just a recording off of a camera, nothing I know how to correct. I will be recording it on my Tascam and hopefully it will be better!!!
