High all, I have my first song out. I have emails confirming it is Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Deezer, and Youtube.
It is in the process of being out on Amazon, Pandora, Tidal, Napster, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, and MediaNet.
I have a second single on its way to be followed by a 5 song EP. I am many weeks away from releasing the EP. I was going to use a particular distributor that a friend has used. He had major issues with his release. Since I was not directly involved I won't comment on the issues or name the distributor as it could have been an isolated incident. I chose instead to use another distributor. So far so good with this distributor. I released "Decades of Exile" as a dry run to see what issues arise before I do the EP.
If anyone is inclined and has subscriptions to Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Deezer, and Youtube can you please do a search and let me know if it works.
Search for Joseph M Kearns and or Decades of Exile" I am not asking you to buy it.
Now a little back ground. Decades of Exile was a song I created years ago. I was in and out of bands for years. Some we did record some not. None ever got signed. I am mainly a bass player who in the past couple years has set up my home recording as well as learning to play guitar. In the time between my last band and setting up the recording studio I got married and raised a family. Musically it was just me, my bass and a daw that I used extensively for midi created songs to jam to. In a way I was in Music Exile. Setting up the studio and buying some nice guitars sparked some fun creativity. Decades of Exile is very MIDI and Electronic. It kind of represents my heavy dependance on MIDI instruments. The next single which should be out within the next month marks my transition from sole midi and bass to actually playing the instruments. The first half of the song is MIDI. The second half is all played it. The EP which I hope to release by end of your will be a harder sounding.
Thanks all.

I am of Keltic ancestry and tasted a Keltic flavor in your piece. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even if that was the farthest thing from your mind.
