A while back Soundclick change up their "look" and I've had trouble getting use to it. Since they changed I have managed to figure how to add songs to their site, added a few but now I can't seem to find the icon that I had found before to allow me to add songs. It disappeared from where it was. Anyone else run into this problem?

Thanks Nigel. That was what I was doing wrong, I was going into each individual page and not my master page. I could do that before but not since they've changed their "look".

I can't even use Soundclick anymore..every time I try to play a track, the player goes crazy and all the titles of all of my tracks start flashing in rapid sequence on the player, while nothing plays. Probably going to take it all down one of these days and either migrate to Bandcamp or build my own site.

Hey, Mark. If you build your site in Wordpress, which is what I find easiest, there is a really easy to use MP3 player you can stick right on the page. I did that at my website after I got fed up with a consistent glitch at SoundCloud. Having said that, far more people listen on SoundCloud than at my website.
That SoundCloud glitch, for anyone that's interested, is that even after I upload a new version of a song, anyone who has already listened will keep getting the old version if they are using the phone app (not the computer version) unless they clear their cache, which is a pain and nobody is going to do it.

Was anybody ever discovered on soundclick? At least myspace can claim that.
How the hell does soundclick make money?

They charge a fee for ads from beatmakers , then if the beatmakers sell something they charge a percentage

I repeat, how the hell does soundclick make money?
I find it hard to believe in this age of free music, and free software to make beats, and endless amounts of resources to generate beats, that anybody would buy a beat.
And even so, you would need thousands of beats being sold to make a business out of it. You couldn't pay employees with that income.
It must be profitable if they still run it, but if you're a beat maker, why would you work through soundclick. Create your own website and advertise on google and anywhere else, youtube etc.
