Mea culpa, Folks... This ain't gonna be pretty, but I hope you'll understand why I'm putting out out here.... I'm gonna post the link to my "Soundclick page"... Scroll down and find "East Texas", and then scroll a little more and find "Shopping List".... ...And then know, that the lead singer of those two songs lost her battle with depression and overdosed ten years ago today. Her name was Anne Sucher....We called her "Gallactic Annie" This is my way of thanking her: East Texas and Shopping list.... http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1085431Midnite

Actually, it was quite pretty. And a wonderful way to celebrate a life cut short. She had a great voice.
Thanks for getting me to listen

Weird...I just happened to see your post to one of my wiseguy posts, and landed here. Ten years? Seems like yesterday....still a sad loss. I remember first seeing the duo in a little bookstore by a railroad track that hosted shows. Of course, the landlord jacked up the rent and the shop couldn't stay open. And five years ago I lost my college roommate to suicide as well. Bob, thanks for remembering Ann Sucher and posting this.

Hope you're well, my friend! Midnite

I'm fine, Bob. I've had a lot of down times, but luckily it was always music that brought me back up! there seems to be a contagion sometimes with these things... don't let yourself get too touched. Exiting at the bottom is NEVER the right answer. Besides, we need you around here, dude!

Very wise advice you offered to me, and to anyone else who may find comfort in it...Thanks:-) Midnite

Artists have delicate souls Bob. They feel so much. I find that is a common thread in cases like this. Hope you all found strength in each other.
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop
