I'm on Facebook. My sib's are on there. My birth name and what I go with is Matthew Benson on Facebook. My name online has been mattbanx and I was on the net before I posted recordings. Someone already had my name on my original ISP so I had to come up with a new one.
I kept mattbanx because who I contact knows me as that and it makes it simpler.
These music sites and message boards are good enough in themselves. But facebook is good for relatives and interested parties.

The key to Facebook is laughing at it. Going on and saying the most ridiculous things and seeing how people respond. The equivalent of people watching in Walmart!

I'll admit it: I'm a facebook junkie. LOL But as a gigging musician... holy cow; I can't think of a better way to pack the house. I post our shows up on facebook, and people really respond. We pretty much always have a packed house, and 90% of the people heard about the show on facebook. It's a fantastic resource for musicians and bands.
