My apologies for being absent lately...Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa...Forgive me if my Latin is rusty...But I'm trying to get back into the swing of things...And just a little bit ago, I saw on a "Lyrics" Forum, a song titled "Mr. Nichols", which is an AWESOME song by Michael W Brown.

But I clicked on the lyric link thinking that it was a tribute to the best Mr. Nichols the planet has produced...Whoops on my part:-)

So here are two links that ANYONE who is in any way thinking about getting into "films" ought to consider...And as the only one here who has actually had two scripts produced, with no more income than any other given songwriter...But had the best two years of my life watching them get produced:-)

Write on, from your heart, but there is no "Magic Bullet of Success"...

Mr. Mike Nichols passed away last year. He was 83 and left Dianne Sawyer as his widow...Yes, THAT Dianne Sawyer.

Mike Nichols, born in Germany, swung through here and in a short period of time, teamed up with Elaine May, and became an incredibly funny duo...

First link here:

He then went on and became a film director:

So tell me, JPFolks, is THAT a Life Well Lived, or what?

There are no short-cuts...

Godspeed, Mr. MIKE Nichols...

Satchel was right. Something is gaining on me.
