Hi Calvin:
Congratulations on reaching the 500 song milepost. It is a remarkable achievement and I hope you will continue the journey. For the most part, music biz in it's present shape, it is a lonesome endeavor... but with each note and line, you learn a little more. In the end, whether you "hit paydirt" or not, it is worthwhile creating and sharing your songs.
Everett Adams is the current (known) JPF songwriting champ... and I believe he has surpassed 2,000. I'm struggling to reach the 1,000 mark before hitting croaksville. It's been fun.
Keep up the good work, my internet friend.
