Mike Leblanc laid out the lyrics for this.
I made only a few alterations and put a melody and my favourite band to it.
Any thoughts?

Mike and Vic--

You two have a winner! Cool--Double meaning!

I was stationed in the Air Force at The Missile base there (Cheyenne), WAY BACK!

Went to Frontier Days--Rough and Ready!

Good luck with your co-lab!

Mackie. Good to see you're listening.
Did you ever get stationed in UK?
I played many air force bases here.

Great lyrics, an infectious, driving beat, solid vocals and an outstanding chorus. There just aren't any weak spots with this song and I was hooked in from the first strains of the harmonica. Awesome. It stayed with me long after the song stopped playing. Nicely done.

I like this one. Nice guitar rhythm change on the chorus. Good lyrics and melody. Got that Marty Robbins vibe.

Mike & Vic,

A good lyric on this. I like that you avoided all the clichés that you usually find in rodeo songs... well done. The chorus is cool.

Cool vocal, too.

Vic and MLB...

Outstanding collab, guys. Lyrics are strong with a great title. Loved the harmonica. These collabs are proving to be a really good idea...! What happens with us is we don't like to make changes. But you must edit and you must correct. That's all I'm sayin'.. Good job guys.

Thanks for coming in on this.

Vic/Mike,

Enjoyed this song guys, well done. I tell you what I like best about this, cause I think it is key: Yes, nice lyrics/melody/production--but this has a unique contrasting vocal vibe in a unique rhythm bed! It' almost like a "country/folk Dylan singing with a T-Rex band that has mellowed a bit! My point is, "so cool/different!" I'm impressed with the creativity of this sound arrangement!

Thanks for your visit and kind comment.
I've heard that said before although I can't see it myself.
If it fits for you I'm happy with the tag.

It's never too late? Yes it is, so do it now.

If, given time, a monkey can write the complete works of Shakespeare maybe there's hope for me.

Just Plain Quotes
"Parents are notorious for telling you not to do something, but not telling you WHAT to do instead. So here are my thoughts. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, give it a manicure. Don't burn your bridges, go out and build more! And of course, Don't run with Scissors, use them to cut out your press clippings!" -Brian Austin Whitney
