South Georgia must be a rough place. I've been through Georgia on the way to Florida, but never encountered any gators, wild pigs or copperheads. Don't want to! But this is where Luke Bryan goes to get away from the city. I didn't know what a Jon boat was, so I googled it. It's a flat-bottomed boast suitable for fishing. I've heard enough of Luke's songs to know that he was a real country boy in his young days. What on earth is a crawfish basket? "Basket" and "rabbits" make a unique rhyme. Never seen that one. Not that many of us are affected by the stock market, but we're all affected by gas prices. Fogerty does "swamp rock," and Luke does "swamp country." Both are original artists.

Christian pop/rock, but it's not the sort of "happy happy Jesus" kind of Christian music. More like thinking-man's Christian music. It's taken me a while to really warm to this album. This is Jars of Clay's latest.

I may be crazy but this is what is currently in my CD player of my van- Singing in Irish Gaelic by Mary Mclaughlin, Each song is slowly spoken and then followed by it being sung...pretty cool! I've been trying to learn Irish for years and this is great!

I bought this 5 album set at Walmart for 20 bucks and linked one song per disc. Elvis Presley is the father of modern music. He began recording with Sam Phillips at Sun Records in Memphis in 1954. All the music of the last 60 years rests on the shoulders of Elvis' early recordings. Never before or since has such raw sexuality been expressed in music. The army tamed Elvis. Otherwise he might have had 20 more number ones.
