Hi Guys, Recently placed this song with a Scottish male artist which is scheduled to go on his next album. It's an anti war song which I have co-written in an unusual way. “All for the mad”” Verse 1: Can you hear the drums son do you hear the drums they’re coming for the young son they’re coming for the young Can you hear the pipes son do you hear the pipes they’re coming for the young son the madness has begun Bridge 1: All dressed up in your uniform you’ll stand there full of pride the men that stand beside you will march into the lie Chorus 1: All for the drums son all for the flag all for the pipes son all for the mad Verse 2: Can you hear the guns son do you hear the guns they’re coming for the young son they’re coming for the young Can you hear their cries son do you hear their cries they’re coming from the young son the dying has begun Bridge 2: You’ll think about your family you’ll dream about your love good men will fall beside you until you've had enough Chorus 2: All for the drums son all for the flag all for the pipes son all for the mad Verse 3: Can you see the flag son do you see the flag It's flying for the mad one's it's flying for the land Can you hear the lord son do you hear the lord he's praying for the young son, the war's never won Bridge 3: Your heart will die a thousand times you'll see your brothers fall the men that fight against you are brothers one and all Chorus Repeat: All for the drums son all for the flag all for the pipes son all for the mad All for the drums son all for the flag all for the pipes son all for the mad © Copyright worldwide 15th February 2012 all rights reserved – revised 16:31 15th FebLink:http://midaskingproductions.com/music/Allforthemad.mp3

Congrats Ray - I find it particularly gratifying that a song of this subject matter got cut. Provides a little hope... Scott

Thank Scott,
My belief is that nowadays, anything can get placed because there is a slot for every song. The difficulty is finding that slot.

Congratulations Ray.Like you say, finding the right song for the right person is the trick.I've pitched songs to people and the songs they go with are not what I consider my best songs, everyone has different taste, one man's meat is another man's poison.

I agree Everett.
When an artist hears a song, they can hear something different to how we have put it together. We need to remember that they may change the lyric or melody so as to tailor it to their particular style. Also because the more well known artists want their names on the credits. Who am I to complain?
