Hi All,
Longtime member Jeff Blake here. I had a problem with my old user name/password so I set up under user name 'choose2b' in honor of my new CD Who We Choose To Be (check it out on iTunes or CDBaby).
I'm getting my website up and running next week and HostBaby is charging $20 a month to host it. Does anyone know a host with a more hospitable rate?

There are several free or low priced host sites - Wix and Angelfire are worth checking.

How about bandcamp? Are they still free for a band name web page? And you can sell downloads and CD's there, too.

I'm using Lunarpages, which is about $5 a month. It is one of those full feature hosts better suited for more general purpose websites. But if you want your site strictly for music promotion and aren't a website wiz, the free ones specific to artists are probably easier to use and good enough.
I've got a couple of the free ones, also, like Reverbnation and Soundclick. But my main site is hosted by Lunarpages.
