please listen here... http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/calvinstewartMore Cowbell © words and music - Michael LeBlanc/C. Stewart March 27, 2013) Just a lonely cowbell, hangin' round Wantin' to be a part of the sound I better see a cowbell in your hand Or you'll see a bummed out cowbell fan More cowbell More cowbell please Rockin' cowbells knocks me too my knees More cowbell More cowbell please Your music's fine, but there's one flaw Without that cowbell, you're breakin' the law So put a little cowbell in every song I'll promise you whiskey all night long Repeat Chorus....

Hey Mike and Calvin,
I've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell! Bring it on. Who was responsible for playing the cowbell? Whoever it was it was spectacular. I just have one suggestion ... MORE COWBELL!
Loved it!

All you guys need is Will Farrell playing in the video, and you have the whole package. Calvin- I love your sense of humor, and that you've really zeroed in on your niche musically. Very fun song with unique premise..... Great Job!!

Calvin & Mike, Now that's a cool use of a bass line, drums and a cowbell. And just a wee bit of organ. Gentleman, a fine job elevating the lowly cowbell, at long last, to a well-deserved position of prominence.

Hey Calvin & Michael-- I smiled the whole time while listening to this FUN one! Neat music, great fun! Over on forum 3, I had suggested that Michael get a parakeet to play the cowbell, but why does he need a parakeet when he has you, Calvin? Laughing! -- Lisa

LOVED it Gents...This is Pure FUN!!!
DID Yearn for More Cowbell earlier-on, but yeah, on the way out, here she comes!!! (I got a Rusty Ol' Iron One Y'can borrow...has that "We just Sold SOMETHING at The Auction" Sound to it...) (& a Fine Swiss One...like I'll bet they're still casting in Sainaliger..Brass..Heavenly Tone to 'em!)
The Touristos kept SWIPING them from the Local Cows...so nowadays ya MOSTLY hear the stamped sheet-metal kind like all the Bands use here Nowadaze... But ya get in an area where the Real-Deal's a-Playin' and it's like a day in Heaven, Amigos!!!
So..heh-heh...Loved It..(But MORE is always Better, Cowbell-Wise!!!)
Good Luck with a Winner/CONGRATS...Another Great Co-, Gents!!! Best Wishes, BGHs, and High-Fives, Bells-a-Ringin'! Stan

Hi Calvin,
fun song. but I expected more cowbell to be played. (I think you should have straight quarter note cowbells throughout the song). I love cowbell almost as much as I love bacon.
Great job. I like the cowbell solo at the end, but it could have been more (like 30 straight seconds of random cowbell ... that would be nice)
keep it up. g

Hi Calvin,
Love the recording of your voice on this.
What's the message of this song? Is it
1) A joke that cowbell is the essence of the universe or
2) It's not a joke and we really do need cowbell in everything?
If #1 is more to your liking IMO you gotta make V2 your first verse. IMO V2 establishes the essence of the joke. V1 kinda makes it serious IMO.
This thing grooves better than some of your tunes IMO. It's rhythmically catchy. Nice job.
Peace,
Ian
