I can't seem to ignore threads about Bob Dylan's singing
I think he has one of the best voices around - not technically perfect of course, but better able to get the song across than anyone else. Some great examples of his different voices:
Lonesome Death of Hattie Carol (early '60's) Like a Rolling Stone (mid '60's) I'll Be Your Baby Tonight (late '60's) Idiot Wind (mid '70's) Senor (late '70's) Everything is Broken (late '80's) Po' boy (early '00's)
I haven't noticed a big difference in his vocal style between the '90's and now....
If the point is to bring the listener into the song, no one is better (imo, of course)
