Joanne, just to clarify...the quote above was not mine. On the contrary, the aim of my post was to argue that particular point. I suppose I should have credited the original poster. So, as it turns out, you're not with me at all, because I'd still rather listen to Bob Dylan sing "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" than Shawn Colvin... and I love Shawn Colvin. I just think Bob usually makes the songs his own as soon as he records them. Cheers, Steve R.
