Sorry to be Such a Slow Reader! Enjoyed the "Newspaper" Analogy on
Critiquin'..so Very True. Newish Writers are SO Sensitive..takes a Long While to visualize Songs as "A Product" rather'n a Piece of Your Soul...(Tho, Yeah, they kinda Remain That Way, anyways..heh!)

But it's So Much EASIER to take Critiques when ya figure "Waal, they didn't bite for Brand X...Maybe I need to beef up Brand Y!"
(or..Create the "New-&-IMPROVED" Brand X...)

And..as for "Penning What Ya Know"..Yep, that makes for Authenticity. I have found that injecting enough HUMOR lets ya write about ANYTHING, as long as The Audience is IN on the Joke.
