Venue name: Uncommon Ground Address: 1214 W. Grace City: Chicago State: IL Zip: 60613 Venue Phone: 773-929-3680 Venue Fax: 773-929-0805 Email: loudcoffee@aol.com WWW: www.uncommonground.com Contact: Michael Cameron Contact #: bookings@uncommonground.com (mail prefered contact method, he will listen to web-based material like mp3) Books: 2-3 months Audience: all ages Genres: Acoustic/folk/jazz/blues/classical Capacity: 50ish Sound: They have a sound system Comments: This is a very popular local venue. Michael books national touring acts as well as local acts. It's an intimate setting. The coffeehouse server great food and has a license to serve wine and beer. They have 3-artist showcases on Sunday night and that is a good first show at this venue. It's a small place with some built in crowd, but you need to draw to pack the room and get invited back. ------------------ Jeffrey Altergott http://www.jeffinthebox.com
