Sorry I didn't explain myself fully.Skinning a live seal DID happen, but it was done by people paid to do so by the animal groups,it didn't happen by sealers working on a per seal pelt basis. It would not make sense to try and skin a seal that was fighting for its life,it would take longer to do and you risk ruining the pelt.It was setup for a photo opp.I'd like to have half the extra money that farce brought in.Also, when animals are dead they will twich sometimes, just muscle reflexing. If anyone ever cut off a chickens head, you know it will run around for several minutes, but it is dead.

I'd say Paul did research and study the hunt, but I'd also guess most of his material was supplied by the animal groups he is working for.Why don't they target the seal hunts over in Russia and other parts of the world.Maybe they are afraid to tackle those big countries,Newfoundland is too easy a target, only 500,000 people so we are not a threat to them, and it still gets the job done and the money rolling in.
