Such a simple concept for a lyric makes for some juicy lines.

I think the lyric can be more generally thought of as being about "unbalanced relationships" where, for whatever reason, one party is paying way more close attention to the other than the other, and you find a through-line to some great imagery to express that--creepiness, for lack of a better word.

The jazzy chords, that blunt "Taxman" guitar style in the right channel, the way the melody works with the lyric, everything works well together.
