Ragdoll will be playing an extended set of favourites from their back catalogue as well as popular new singles “Rust” and “Follow the Leader”. Joining them will be local legends Ablaze as they kick start a national tour, along with more special guests. Perth Trio Ragdoll Announce East Coast Shows Perth power trio Ragdoll have announced a pair of East Coast shows to celebrate a decade on the road. Ragdoll headline iconic Melbourne venue The Prince Friday August 5th alongside local rockers Ablaze and more before getting down and dirty at Sydney’s one and only Frankie’s Pizza by the slice August 7th. Ragdoll will be playing an extended set of favourites from their back catalogue as well as popular new singles “Rust” and “Follow the Leader”. "After the last few years everyone has been through we really just want to pay our fans back for their amazing support. The only way we know how is to come and play some glorious loud, live music." - Ryan Rafferty “Melbourne and Sydney have always embraced us like favourite sons and we can’t wait to be back” - Leon Todd If you want it done, do it yourself" sums up the ethos of Australian power trio Ragdoll, who have taken their singular brand of hard rock from Perth, the world's most isolated capital city, to some of the biggest stages in the world. Led by the powerhouse vocals of Ryan Rafferty and backed by Leon Todd on guitar and Cam Barrett on drums, Ragdoll burst onto the international scene with their 2012 release Here Today and and an appearance at the renowned Rocklahoma festival in the USA, which quickly drew comparisons to classic power trios King's X, Rush and Trapeze. 2013's "All I Want Is Everything" and 2014's "Ragdoll Rewound", in addition to a grueling touring schedule through the USA and Australia, saw Ragdoll refine their sound in a modern rock direction. 2016's full length "Back to Zero" was simultaneously heavier and more melodic, drawing positive reviews at home and from the USA and EU. "Back to Zero" drew comparisons to Whitesnake, Alice in Chains and Shinedown. "Back to Zero" saw the band undertake their most extensive tour to date, spanning the USA, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Australia. Singles “Rust” and “Follow the Leader” came in 2020 which saw the band headline the inaugural “Perth Rocks” festival as well as their most extensive Australian tour supporting melodic rock icon Kip Winger. The advent of the pandemic didn’t halt the band’s momentum as they released not one but three live albums over the course of 18 months.
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

"When will we all, as artists, creators and facilitators learn that the so-called experts in our lives are nothing more than someone who has stepped forward and called themselves an expert?" –Brian Austin Whitney
