Most office environments play top 40 radio ALL day.
They played big hits over and over so many times, I can name the job I was at and the year when the song was a hit, cause I worked alot of contract jobs.
every once in a while a song was good enough to withstand it.
I recall "sometimes love aint enough" Don henley and patty smith, was working with spreadsheets and mainframe, lol
I recall, "I dont wanna be" Gavin Mcgraw was working in a hospital.
and few others, when I hear those songs now, I immediately am right back in that place, I can even name mistakes I made during those times, and conversations with others.
