It started in first grade when the patrol boys
Got me for going up the down staircase
They dragged me up to the principal's office
He waived the death penalty. Nice guy!

It happened again in third grade at the playground
Caught me climbing up the sliding board backwards
They dragged me off to the third grade teacher
Again, there was no lethal injection

Can't tell you how much I hate them
Guns and handcuffs on their belts
Blue lights atop their Metro cars

Causing half of all the crime

You recall the police riots of the 60s
Legal thugs in black uniforms
It's happening again since 9/11
Sirens blaring into the night

Dumb as dirt, that's how they make a living
Overbearing security in every town
Cruising the streets like wild dogs in heat
Giving tickets left and right

I won't say the only good cop is a dead cop
I just want the harassment to stop

A band of ignorant, arrogant fools
Robbing society, they're on the take
