Update...
Attention JPF Members:
As I am on the final drive of my masters degree project, I feel it necessary for the following message to be conveyed:
I will gladly add your requests to the cdbaby gallery, but...
you will not be added until after July of this year.
My focus must remain centered on getting this project/thesis finished while still maintaining a teaching career and serving on the state board of music educators, as well as church musician for 2 churches and parent/husband. Until one of those key elements is removed from the puzzle, the requests cannot currently be dealt with - until after July 08.
You can still request - just know that the above applies. I apologize for any inconvenience.
As for someone else making the additions, that would mean them going into my own cdbaby.net account with my password, etc. and I'm not so sure about handing that all over for the time being. The person would need to be someone I could essentially trust with handing over the keys to my business since I would be opening the doors to the whole retail side of my online affairs.
I do look forward to wrapping this all up, so I can hang out w/ you all again.

As long as the artist lists what artist name they're listed under with CDBaby, I can find them and get them listed onto the Just Plain Folks *Gallery* at CDBaby.

Aight! Everyone who has posted here so far is added. That must be just about all the JPF cd's that are out there, right?
hmmm . . . I could've sworn Brian's updates about the JPF awards mentioned JPF members' releases totaling in the thousands, but I guess they're maybe just not available on http://www.cdbaby.com .
Yeah, that must be it. Because, so far, we have 68 releases in our little group and while that is a respectable number, it is not even close to the thousands that JPF supposedly represents! (I hope you're all catching the slight tone of sarcasm in my text here, b/c I know there are thousands. I just want them here!)
Don't hold back on us here. If you've got something over there, let us know & get yourself in this gallery with the rest of us! It's painless and may just gain you some traffic you wouldn't have otherwise received.

If you want to see the 25,000+ JPF members who are entered into this year's awards (about 90% of which are also on CD Baby), we have updated the website DATABASE. You could also go through and all all the previous awards winners and nominees. Keep in mind only a tiny fraction of our members regularly use the website message boards.
I might include a reference to this post in the newsletter so maybe more folks will come and post here to get added to your Gallery.

That would be awesome if you could list it in your newsletter. I kind of wish to keep this an opt-in thing for artists to sign up for. I know you have a huge database which is overwhelming to even look at.
In the meantime, thanks for acknowleging this project and hopefully it will provide another resource for artists to use as a tool in their marketing efforts.

Jimmy Buffett called "Honk if You Love Atheists" (quote) "The Best Florida Road Song I've heard in years" "Death Row at The Lobster House" won 5th in Great Americal Song Contest for "Special" (We're talkin' NOVELTY) Songs.
/3 was "Sessions With Sue"...resultin' from 3 yrs co-labbing with Susan Shoshana-Braun..Keyboardist with Belinda Womack. "Door 26" (About Dr.Seuss's 25 "Rejections" before his First Publishin' Deal) and "Grass is always Greener (Outside Our One-Horse Town)" (My Very Own True-Life "Mustang Song") are personal Faves.
/4 "Songs Somebody Else Coulda Prolly Sung Better"..was my 2nd Comedic CD cut with Tampa DJ Bill Dudley's Musical/Studio Input. "Deep Down We're Dogs" was "Held" for The Movie "Yard Sale".."When The Brushfire Hit the Popcorn Farm" got Coast-to-Coast Air [Once] on The Bob & Tom Show. "Got My Sox On, Baby" is Semi-Guaranteed to Getcha Laid... ;-)>
/5 "It Helps to Have a Miserable Childhood"..Cover Song's actually a Straight Number..pretty likeable. "Let Me Know If You're A Lesbian" I penned to save You Guys a Whole Lotta Dating Time..just pop it in the Car CD Player after the 4th Peck-on-da-Cheek "Good-Nighter" and see if it don't Work Wonders!~ "They Can Tell" is a Fun Song about Cheating..Gals will love..enuf Said.
/6 "Granny Wants a Harley For Christmas" was the 2nd CD I cut/finished up in Branson with Producer Gene Allen's help.
Got a Redneck Christmas Song...a Drinkin' Christmas Song..a Parody on Nativity Scenes ("All-Natural Christmas")..even one where Santa's a Thug/with a Li'l Tribute to Bobby Darin: "U Better B Good (If U Should!)"..(Lookout..Ol' Santa's BACK!). New Year's Eve Song, "Which Hill Do We Meet On (& Who'll Bring The Beer?)" that was gettin' Air in Europe well into January..Last 2 CDs went to Canadians end of January..so it's a Christmas CD ya can play Year-Round. ("Yeah, God's Like That" on it was JPF Lyrics Nominee last year..& Oak Ridge Boys wanna cut it this year.)
I'm 3 Songs Recorded on the Next CD..prolly titled "The Non-PC CD"..so /7 is on da way in a month or two.

Damn.. just sent out the newsletter and forgot to mention this. I will try to remember for the next time. Although if a huge number of people responded, at some point the list could be so large it would be like surfing the entire CD Baby site right?
You could actually just add folks from the database that is now posted on the home page. Check it out to see who has entered stuff this year. Some very interesting folks.
