You guys might enjoy this....:-) https://youtu.be/i2yLq9LBcLYI got to spend a couple days in Anaheim attending the Star Wars Celebration festivities. I have to say, it was a blast. Any of you guys Star Wars fans and if so, do you have any Star Wars related stories you'd like to share? If so, this is the thread to do it.

Hey Aaron,
Yeah. This was my first Star Wars themed convention. I haven't been to one before. It was definitely a great experience. My cousin is the voice of Zebb in the Star Wars Rebels animated series on Disney XD, so he hooked up some passes for me and my family to attend. It'll be in London next year! I might just go! lol

Okay,
It can't be possible that John and I are the ONLY ones posting on the forums that are fans of Star Wars....
So, what's the deal people? Is it because I posted the thread that no one wants to chime in?
Last I checked, I wasn't a Pariah on these boards, or am I?

I was never that into Star Wars. I should give it a go again though. Might like it more now that I am older.

Well I saw it the second day it started in May of 1977. I own them all and have seen them all a number of times. Never watched them back to back but always wanted to do that. I even enjoyed the prequels. Looking forward to all of this, and glad to see this thread going on.

Aaron,
Yes! I highly recommend it! Start with "A New Hope", "Empire Strikes Back", and "Return of the Jedi" first.
Then watch, "A Phantom Menace", "Attack of the Clones", "Revenge of the Sith".
After that, watch The Clone Wars movie, followed by the animated series.
Once you've done that, watch the Star Wars Rebels animated series.
By then, you'll be ready for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, when it hits theaters in December 2015. :0)

Marc,
You should watch them back to back, but in the order that I recommended them to Aaron! :-)
You should also watch the animated extras I recommended to Aaron as well.
Make it a party. Invite friends over. Pop some popcorn, have a barbeque, etc...Make it an event!
I would love to hear about it on here if you do. :-)

Gregory has the right idea, but don't expect it to be a party where you can pick up chicks:-)...Anyone remember that comic "Insult Dog"(Can remember the name) talking to the pregnant woman who was waiting in line for one of the openings? But seriously, Gregory, I have some high hopes for this one. Not that the quality really matters, because this is gonna shatter opening day records. I'm still gathering my thoughts on my first Star Wars viewing, where the curiosity started with the sounds in a radio commercial, and was fueled by a housemate who was totally geeking out on it. Not meaning to be blasthemous, but I still get chills when I hear the music, in the same way that I do when I hear "She loves you, yeah, yeah yeah" on the radio. There are just some moments, when something arrives on the scene, and you know that the industry will never be the same. John, Paul, George and Yoda.... Midnite

I have an R2D2 "clone" sitting atop my little studio bookshelf... right next to the statue of Ghandi. This series has always been preposterously entertaining to me. The characters and the scenes or sets were so imaginative.
I believe the new series will include a ball shaped, rolling version of R2 but I only glimpsed the article about it in Wired Magazine's E-zine. Then there's Darth... the embodiment of evil. Yeah, I suppose you could say I'm a fan. Have fun Greg. Keep us posted.

Gregory,
That is the order I would watch them. But I'd have to draw the line at the animated series. To do that it would take as long as the Empire itself.

I have all six of the Star Wars Movies. I used to read science fiction books long before Star Wars came out. I would like to get ROBINSON CARUSO ON MARS but they want a fortune for the DVD. I have FORBIDDEN PLANET and KING OF THE ROCKET MEN, a black and white serial released in the 50's in the movie houses.
