Hi there here Priscilla speaking, some of you already know me, I'm a female vocalist and been around here (sometimes more than others) for ages XD. Today I wanted to share a FREE youtube channel that I think all you vocalists should subscribe to. Some years back I had nodules in my vocal chords not because I was forcing when I was singing but because I was forcing when speaking, and due to my actual midterm job I also have to abuse the voice a bit, so for me it's become important to take care of it, and I randomly found this channel in youtube, and found myself watching all 70 free lessons and building my personal warm up for the voice. This guy knows a lot! and it's sort of interactive too cos you can send questions, and most importantly is OPEN AND ABSOLUTELY FREE to watch for everyone. I was suprised it was all there for everyone to watch, so generous. well there it goes the link you won't regret to have a look https://www.youtube.com/user/NewYorkVocalCoaching

You're welcome. When I had the nodules there were some recommendations (for speaking, not singing) that were highlighted and stressed properly in theese and I recommend you just open a txt document and write down the warm up exercises, there are some specific (follow this warm up session real time) that works really nice. It really surprised me that this wasn't like buy the dvd cos there is a lot of effort, just absolutely free and helpful.

I made my own warming up session personalized after watching this videos, maybe I should share my conclusions, but I found them extremely useful and I was surprised it was online for free. I'm glad others find it useful too

Thanks for posting this for everyone. While I'll never be a performer, I'm already finding it helpful for just singing for myself. Thanks,
Ricki

Wow, this guy is good. I took some lessons in 2006 and stopped mostly because I was not doing my practices, therefore wasting money on the lessons.
What these videos give me though, is EXCELLENT and understandable explanations of what I need to do and why. My coach in 2006 did not know how to explain the breathing stuff, and episode 1 of this series has explained to me exactly what she was trying to explain but could not get through clearly.
I will be watching the whole series. Thanks for posting this pRISCILA.
