Thought to post this one before continuing with my FAWM lyrics since I am playing around with a melody and after a few critiques/suggestions will get a simple demo up for the MP3 Board. My wife came up with the hook after a sudden turn in the weather here in Montreal. Monday it got into the 70's and then by the next day dropped down to 0. Knock yourselves out! Mother N's [16.04.2014] [V] Just the other day it was somewhere in the twenties. That's 70 in Fahrenheit, good moods were all a plenty. This morning snow lay on the ground, the wind was wild and biting. That little pause from winters grip didn't stop the griping. [C] She's hot! She's cold! She's cold! She's hot. She's always hot then cold. She's good! She's bad! Happy and sad! All across the globe. She's here! She's there! She's everywhere like an UN-manned pressure nozzle. Mother N's getting old. She's down right menopausal. [V] Foolishly I dropped my guard. As did friend and stranger. Little did we understand the circumstance, the danger. We stored our boots, our hats and gloves. As one we screamed, “About time!” Mother N went off again. Like an unforgotten land mine. [Chorus] [B] All along the Eastern Coast. Across the different time zones. I never know what's going on, and it's shaking me to my bones. [Chorus] [B] Flooding tears, sudden chills. Warm then freezing wind blasts. Everyday we live in fear. She switches gears way to fast. I can relate to this. We define things by their opposites, by what they are not.

Hi Douglas,
That must have been the same day it dropped from 60 to 30 here!
This is a really cute write -- and about as relatable as it gets!
(I was almost expecting, at the end, for us to hear that you were really writing about your woman -- lol!)

I like lyrics with humor in them. Makes it more interesting. Please let me know when you post it to an Mp3
I'd rather save memories not money

Hi Lisa. I would be lying if I said my wife didn't have some part of this. [She is hot then cold, then cold then hot these days]but her main part was the comment about Mother Nature this winter.
Thanks for the visit.

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
