vs Please Mrs Pettigrew open your arms to me Casually exposing your bountiful charms to me My body in spasm goes into arrest As I stare open mouthed at your glorious chest vs Only fifteen I'm already in love With a woman of thirty who babysits us My heads in the clouds as I run for the bus Everyone knows I'm in love Chorus: Love love love ,beautiful exciting Yet so terribly frightening Love love love, contentious and courageous And quite possibly contagious Love love love, a lifetime full of bliss Trapped in a thirty second kiss Love love love, everyone should be in love Love love love, everyone should be in love vs Christine O'Leary sat at the next desk to me She was almost fifteen with long slender legs I see I'd follow behind her when she went to lunch I couldn't find the words when it came to the crunch vs I plucked up the courage, asking her out We went to a movie shared a bottle of stout She finally showed me what love's all about Ran to the rooftops to shout Bridge: Within a couple of months She moved to a new school left me alone with my pain Everyone knows there's no Fool like an old fool I'd do it all over and over again Chorus: Love love love, beautiful exciting Yet so terribly frightening Love love love, contentious and courageous And quite possibly contagious Love love love, a lifetime full of bliss Trapped in a thirty second kiss Love love love, everyone should be in love Love love love, everyone should be in love

Memories are endless pistachios, that we crack open often and savor the sweet meat of yesterday, never concerned all that much about how hard they are to crack, cause it's a tasty journey back. Lovely write Joe. ~~~Matt

The joys,or perhaps not of growing up.I have a few tales to tell Joe of the fumbling and general uneasy feeling of being a teen.Something like Adrian Mole on speed Good trip down memory lane Travis

OK, so I have to just say....eh.
The first verse is set up for early puberty but sounds too much like the 15 year old in the second verse. The second verse is more on the innocent side and I would swap the scenarios around and rework it. Maybe the baby sitter watched a movie with him and he felt like it could have been a date or he imagined it as one. The second girl causing the lustful thoughts from the boy are much more sensible, imho.
Anyway...that's what I think.

Hey Travis Thanks for your reply. It's just a short stroll down memory lane when you fell in and out of love every other week. Glad you liked it.
Peace Joe

Hey Caroline The guy in vs1 is the same guy (at the same age) as in vs2 and mrs Pettigrew is his school teacher. guys at that age are horny all the time(or maybe that was just me) and the sight of a well turned ankle can set their pulse racing. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Peace Joe
