Hi Mackie
I can visualise the opening of such a movie. A busy street at night, pimps and prostitute's on the look out for business, a drunk or two,shopkeepers,peddlers people getting on quickly with their lives walking by.And this bluesy song played over the opening credits.

Mackie, This is one of your best. The rhymes and meter click. The imagery is stark. The story well-told. I can see it unfold right in front of me as I walk down that dark street in my mind. You hit this one out of the park.

I have a print in my bedroom, done by a New Orleans Artist in the 60's--I don't know if her BUCKTOWN is still there!

This is kinda of a juxtaposition of me thrown into this place watching the story play out!

I'm finding out that Buck Town is in New Orleans. Glad it is not here in Nashville. I hear enough sirens living across from Vanderbilt Hospital. Lots of good imagery.
