Hey guys! My name is Ben Grace, I'm pretty new to the forum. Some members suggested I post my music in here to get some feedback and whatnot. I'm currently trying to figure out how I could get my music heard by more people, so if you guys have any insight, I'd love to hear it! Also feel free to critique or comment on the tunes.
Since I wrote the songs, I tend to enjoy them, but you get sort of what I call 'studio ears' where you think everything you record is amazing, ha.

Hi Ben,
I listened to these songs yesterday and I love the 1st one! It's a good idea to post one song at a time you'll get more comments that way. Also it's a good idea to listen to other peoples songs and comment on them you'll make friends and get a lot more feed back that way. You are a very talented guy!

You have an awesome voice and a very current sound. Loved both songs.
I can not add any suggestions other than what Mackie suggested, to bring up the vocals a tiny bit.
I added your videos to my favs. I liked them and the songs that much.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Sometimes I get a little bogged down and start to wonder if the tonality of my voice is appealing at all, so it's good to hear that it sounds alright to you guys.

Hi Ben,
First of all, welcome to JPF!! I love both of the songs! My only nit for the production mix would be is to pull back on the music and keep your vocals in front more, which I love by the way! Excellent musicianship too. Sent you a PM.

This is indeed me singing Glynda, singing lead vocals, playing acoustic and electric guitar, and playing drums. I got one of my buddies to record the bass and do some harmonies in each chorus for both songs. Mixing was done by myself as well- turned out pretty decent for a home recording.

Hey Ben. Nice to meet you and welsome to JPF. Listened to both tunes and they sound very professional sonically. My son is in his mid 20s and it sounds like what he listens to. He's also a Bealemaniac like his dad so that makes me happy, lol. Seriously, you've got a good contemporary sound going. Really happy for you.
Remember to comment on other's work so you'll get your share of comments back. They don't have to be back pats, just honest.
