Besides a little tweeking here and there, getting rid of the "I's" for example once you have established who is singing and other "filler" words (just / and )you have a really great "universal/funny" song.
The situation is believable, current and really well presented.
Good Job Guys!

Hi Shayne and Roger,
Great story -- and comical too!
One thing struck me in the bridge...she still seems to be talking to her boyfriend/husband in the bridge, yet when she says that she'll "stage" a date, then she's already giving her plan away. Thus, at the end of the bridge, should it be: "pretty soon HE'LL be sayin'"? That way, it will seem like the bridge is a secret "aside" to the audience.
This is a fun one -- I'm sure that the music will be too!

Hi Doug,
Thanks for looking this one over. Shayne and I are in the process of tightening it up a bit. Getting rid of some of those redundant I's and you's. Changes out soon. Thanks for the suggestions. Take care, Roger

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for looking this one over--and for the suggestions. We're in the process of rewriting parts of this now and will consider your point of view for sure. Thanks again. Take care, Roger

HiDee Meister-Ski Guys!
Real Cute Carryings-On here, Gents!
Me? I got a Dumb-Phone that, with 150 Pre-paid Minutes on it WOULDN'T connect local OR long distance for a day & a half (preferring to read "Emergencies Only" Use, 'till La Femme blew 45 minutes talkin' to several Babes-in-India on how to fix it.)
Came REAL close to sailing it into The Gulf...& stickin' with the land lines....
I had No Idea these cussed Amenities had THIS much Venom in 'Em 'till I read Your Lyric here....talk about "Kiss and Cell"...heh!
I'd sug condensing your hook..to "KEEP YOUR CELL FROM CALLIN' ME"...Most listeners already Know the "Phone" part, methinks...
Good Luck with a Fun One..Glad I own a Dumb One, I Guess!
Best Wishes & a Big Guy-Hug, Stan

Hi Shayne and Roger
I like the Chorus a lot. What I don't like is This one line in the 2nd verse the very first seven words. I'll say change it.

I had a phone a few years back that would pocket call my wife, the rat bastard never dialed anyone else just her, so I can relate to the concept. Cant wait to hear the final write with a melody...

Hey Stan, Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, condensing the title would be good, except it may be heard by some as "Keep Your Self From Calling Me", which would lose the whole cell phone theme.
